Your charts are stored on your iPhone and, when iCloud Drive is on for the app, in your own iCloud Drive. The app has no account, no advertising and no tracking, and it does not send your charts anywhere on its own.
Only when you make a coach link does anything leave the phone. The app then sends to coach.zavoytennis.com two rendered views of the match, the match report and the statistics, as images. They show what those views print: the players' names, the venue, the tournament and round, the date or the times the match was charted with their time zone, and whether it was charted courtside, from a broadcast or from a video. The app also sends one line saying when they were last updated, and the coach's email address or phone number that you typed. A sign-in code is sent to that address through an outside email service. Individual taps, their coordinates and times, your notes and your roster never leave the phone. Turning a link off stops its page being shown.
If you allow the app to use your location, it records where a chart was made. That reading is kept on the phone and in your own iCloud copy of the chart, and is never sent to us. There is a setting, off until you turn it on, that looks up a place name; turning it on sends the coordinates to Apple's own service to find the name.
zavoytennis.com and zavoytennis.app are served by Cloudflare, which handles each request as any web host does. The counter described below keeps nothing from those requests beyond the numbers listed.
These websites count how often they are used and nothing more. Each count is one whole number, added up by day.
pageview: the page loadedappstore_click: a press on an App Store linkchart_opened: a press on Start in the new-match dialog, or on Resume in the resume bannerexport_clicked: a press on Export JSON, either in the bar or on a row in My chartsThe page is stored as one of /, /chart, /chart.html, or as other for any other page. chart_opened and export_clicked store the page as -: they are bare counters. Nothing after a ? or a # is ever read.
pageview: the page loadedappstore_click: a press on an App Store linkThe page is stored as one of /, /privacy, /terms, /support, or as other for any other page. Nothing after a ? or a # is ever read.
A press is counted even if the button then does nothing. The count is presses.
Each count is stored with four fields: day, site, event, path, and a number. The day is a UTC date with no time of day. Never stored: names, charts, scores, points, an IP address, your device or browser, your location, the page you came from, query strings, cookies, any identifier.
Anyone can send requests to the counter, so a count can be inflated. What a request cannot do is store anything beyond a count.
The first time you visit, a one-line bar asks whether to count the visit anonymously. Nothing is counted until you press Yes, and ignoring the bar counts nothing. The counts are kept forever.
You can change this with the button below, which appears once this page has loaded. The setting is kept in this browser, separately for each of the two sites.
